A BRASS GORGE-CASED PETIT SONNERIE REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK

A gilt brass carriage clock in one piece gorge case with white enamel dial and blued steel hands. The 8 day movement is numbered and stamped. This clock is in very good condition, All original glass is without damage, and the enamel dials free from damage.

The original very large English Lever escapement measures appeox 2 inch diameter is perfectly working, Underneath the clock is the Silent/Strike lever to operate both hammers, This clock strikes the quarters on two gongs Signed and stamped movement.

The white enamel dial, signed Edward and Son London, Paris & Glasgow, with Roman numerals and with a two-position selection lever set to the underside. 26cm high inc handle.
