Alex Schomburg was an amazing artist who created quite a number of World War II covers . He did a fantastic job on this cover depicting Subby delivering a torpedo down the hatch of a Nazi U-Boat Submarine 💥He gives some serious Whoop Ass to the figures of doom !! Namor was one of Marvels/Timely first Superheroes predating Captain America by a full year ! 😲

The Back Cover is awesome as well with a very cool AD for Captain America 6 who is delivering Hell to the Nazi’s and saving Bucky from doom.

Schomburg also worked his magic on the interior, along with Paul Gustavson and Bill Everett. Inside the issue, the Angel gets a backup story, and there's a text story by a very young Stan Lee.❣️The book contains ads inside for USA Comics #1 and All Winners Comics #1🔥

Sub-mariner #2 is the most difficult book to acquire in the series .Primarily because the census is literally 50% less than that of Sub-mariner #1 😮. As a result most collectors who have been fortunate to acquire this fabulous book are reluctant to let them go. Only 5 book exist with a higher grade. This desirable book will also disappear for another 20 years . So don’t hesitate to acquire this must have book 😉

This Sub-Mariner gem displays beautifully and is encapsulated and protected to provide a great investment to the next proud owner for years to come !
