"The Freeway of the Future!" Presented is a shiny rear badge that identified the indelible Autopia Mark VII vehicle that cruised the highways and byways of the Super Autopia Freeway in Tomorrowland at Disneyland! The original Tomorrowland Autopia was a fan-favorite attraction for 13 years, right up to the time that the Autopia Mark VII sped onto the scene, with a Corvette Stingray-inspired body. For a magical touch, each of the Mark VIIs was accented with these machined metal ornaments prepared by Disneyland Shops, recognizing their distinguished model number and United States patent number, flanking the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle emblem of Disneyland. The Autopia Mark VII is historically the final of seven Autopia models designed by Walt Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr. This small Autopia Mark VII ornament was either overflow stock or removed from a vehicle during a rehabilitation or repair of the Autopia at Disneyland. It is mounted alongside an architectural plot plan of the Disneyland Autopia presented by Chevron.
The badge Measures 2.75” in diameter, this instantly recognizable Autopia part is in Very Good condition, exhibiting some scuffs and scratches and is an exceptional reminder of the rich legacy that belongs to the Autopia at Disneyland! Frame measures 14" x 21 1/4".
