HELLO YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY A SUPER RAREoriginal 1953-54 OUT OF THE SHADOW #11 PRINTER PROOF COVER wADs & EXTRA MARGINS PRE-CODE HORROR GOLDEN AGE ORIGINAL PRODUCTION COVER PRINTER PROOF with ADS & EXTRA MARGINS . Published by VISUAL EDITIONS and featuring the cover art . This is a full-color single sheet printed proof of the cover, including both the front and back covers, the same way it looked in the published comic. with AD's . Just unstapled to a book with extra margin to trim . It measures approximately 15 1/2" by 10 1/2 ".only flaw is they folded back in 1954 , since flattened now its stored better you can see a centered fold down the middle,, Please note that this is NOT a mass-produced print or lithograph, or for a more recent reprint. It is a cover proof that was created during the production process for the comic, and used internally by the comic company. The piece is in incredible condition, particularly considering the age of the piece (almost 70 years old!), this piece hasnt been trimmed ,, Still has extra margins around the edges bigger than the standard comic book size, and it is overall in awesome condition that you could probably bring to a professional book binder find and put the pages together to make a 9.4 or better graded restored original book ,, that's how awesomeJust saying this piece is rare would be a truly major understatement. GOLDEN AGE production art is extremely scarce, particularly since there was no Marvel equivalent to DC's Jack Adler that made a conscious effort to save production pieces. So there is generally not believed to be nearly as much Golden Age SA prod. artwork still in existence, as there is in the Adler collection of DC pieces. Most Marvel production pieces you see are either from reprints or foreign editions.a truly rare find. And a cover this early (the 11th issue!!!) in a major well-known golden age series is practically unheard of. An exceptional and unbelievably rare piece of comic production art, that would look great framed, and be a true key piece in any collection.
