PRE WW II NORITAKE ROSEOLYN 59 pc DINNERWARE SERVICE for 8 ~ 7 pc PLACE SETTINGS:

Nearly complete, barely used, dinnerware set made in Japan by Noritake at about 1938-39. Definitely pre World War II. It is in remarkable condition, having seen very little use. This was a service for 8, with 7 piece place settings as follows:

8 Dinner Plates 10"

8 Soup Plates 8 1/4"

8 Salad Plates 7½"

8 Dessert Bowls 5½"

8 Saucers 5½"

7 Bread Plates 6½"

6 Tea Cups 3 5/8"

In addition, there is a low 2 handle bowl, an oval serving dish 10½", and the lid of a covered serving piece 9".

Flaws: 1 bread plate has a chip on the underside of the rim. 1 dessert bowl has been glued where broken in half. No other chips, cracks, hairlines found.

Pattern isRoseolyn. It is hand paintedwith gold floral banding.
