Offered here is a 9.5" x 7.5" photograph signed and inscribed by aviation pioneer, film producer and infamous recluse Howard Hughes. In 1938, Hughes flew around the world in just 91 hours, less than half of the previous record. Hughes is pictured here with Albert Lodwick, who served as Hughes' flight operations manager during the flight, and Gladstone Williams, to whom the photo is inscribed. The inscription reads, "To Gladstone Williams with truly sincere appreciation Howard Hughes." Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA, this is a beautiful example of a photo, signed by one of the most important and reclusive figures of the mid-20th century.Check out my store for the best selection of sports and non-sports cards and memorabilia.
