Classic Early MANGA - This has been in my collection for over 35 years. I had it graded a couple of yearsago.

ROBOTECH had a 3-season run in the United States from1985-1987.It was actually the result of three different Japaneseseries combined into one narrative. Sony had acquired the license and wasplanning to develop the property as a potential multi-film franchise.

Background Information:This is the OfficialENGLISH Language adaption that began the classic ROBOTECH Saga – thehard-to-find 1984 1stUS Macross Saga Robotech.Infact, the title changes to Robotech: The Macross Saga from issue #2 on.

Wraparound Cover.It is also known as theEnglish adaption of Robotech The Macross #1.Some in the collectibleindustry also more accurately term this as Robotech The Macross Saga #1.

This is one of the harder to find independent comicbooks. It is published by Comico in 1984.

The Professionals: (1) Editing and Script by Carl Macek,who was heavily involved in the Heavy Metal movie.

Condition: I obtained a few ofthese years and years ago when they were firstpublished. Icarefully stored them in a properEnvironment.Obviously, this also means it was also a smoke-freestorage area. I got this one graded a few years ago. CGC #3882253010.
