For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved 2000’s period official BMW Motorsport dealer advertising sign.

This sign was used as part of the external advertising for an established dealer in Cambridge, England. It is a great size and also very impressive when seen in person.

The sign is single sided and features a thermoformed plastic logo. It was originally mounted to the showroom canopy overhanging the the showroom windows. The best way for the sign to be displayed is for it to be wall mounted.

The internal lighting is operated by its original neon fluorescent lamps and it is fully functional. The sign will function in Europe with a simple plug change, and for it to function safely in the USA a simple step down converter is all that is needed (approximately $50 on ). Alternatively the sign could be converted to LED lighting for a relatively small expense.

The sign does show only minor signs of age and light weathering, but it does present itself very well. Being for the well known and much loved BMW Motorsport brand, they are almost impossible to come by.

This nostalgic and atmospheric piece is very striking and would be perfectly suited for an enthusiast to have on display. It has been privately owned and enjoyed but now the time has come for a new home to be found. I will ensure the sign is safely packaged for its journey to its new owner.
