Observations / Imperfections:Case Integrity Notice: Due to age, the interior lining of the presentation case has begun to break down. The lid may feel resistant when first opened, and the lining can stick to the components, occasionally transferring small flakes or material when items are removed. The case still opens and functions, but the inner material is delicate. We have tried our best to upload photos showing the issues with the box, but ’s platform limits the number and detail of images we can provide. The S.T. Dupont Versailles Limited Edition was created to reflect the grandeur of the Château de Versailles during the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King. Inspired by the palace’s architecture and decorative style, the design features layered white lacquer panels, geometric gold lattice patterns modeled after the gates and balconies, and royal emblems such as the fleur‑de‑lis and the Sun King motif.This series pays tribute to the artisans whose craftsmanship shaped Versailles, incorporating motifs drawn from its salons, baroque furniture, wall panels, ceiling designs, and gardens. The gold‑finished metal sections carry a repeating lattice pattern that unifies the pens and lighters in the collection.Your set includes all five original components in matching white lacquer and gold trim, numbered 2 out of 50. This exceptionally low number makes it one of the earliest and rarest configurations in the Versailles series.
