Mino Ware Nezumi Shino Camellia Flattened Vase by Toyohisa Kato, Large Exhibition Piece with Original Wooden Box

This is a large Japanese Mino ware flower vase created by ceramic artist Toyohisa Kato, also known as Daikyu.

The vase is made in the Nezumi Shino style and features a bold camellia design.

Its distinctive opening is reminiscent of the shape of Mount Fuji, while the large camellia motif creates a powerful and impressive appearance.

With a height of approximately 36.5 cm and a body diameter of approximately 38.5 cm, this is a substantial large-scale work.

A price card used at the artist’s pottery exhibition is included.

The original wooden storage box, wrapping cloth, artist biography, and exhibition price card are also included.
