Henrik Moller Dragestil Open Sugar Bowl
The Norwegian silversmith Henrik Moller (1858-1937) of Trondheim was a major proponent of Dragestil (meaning Dragon Style) - a Norse Revival Style of the Arts & Crafts period that used Viking-era and early Medieval motifs.
Much of his work drew on designs found on early architecture of his native Trondheim. Moller had an international clientele including a number of Europe's ruling houses.The sugar bowl we have for sale dates to around 1900s. The silverware is hammered out as a large sugar bowl with beautiful handles on the sides. The bowl has stunning Dragestil design with perfectly-hammered edges and relief Viking decorative elements. Finished with smoothly-polished Gold-washed interior. The making is highly-finished, quite up to Henrik Moller's reputation of a fine silversmith. Made of solid Silver 830 by the legendary Henrik Moller.The bowl has normal minor wearing, small scratches. Small spots inside, wearing coloration.
There are no dents, no depressions, no damages. In excellent antique condition!This antique work of art by H.Moller is in great condition!
