Here\'s theVery Neat and Beautiful 1998 Krewe of Endymion .999 Fine Silver Oval High ReliefDoubloon.Thedoubloonmeasures 48 mm or 1 7/8\" in height, 35 mm or1 3/8\" in width and is inExcellentCondition.Payment due within 48 hours of purchase.Note: The obverse features the Endymion Crest. The reverse features Amadeus Mozart, Sherlock Holmes, Groucho Marx, Winston Churchill, General George Patton and John Wayneand reads \"BIOGRAPHIES...1998.\" This doubloon was designed by Blaine Kern Artists of New Orleans and made in Germany. The Krewe of Endymion is named after the god of youth and refer to their doubloons as \"Tokens of Youth.\" This doubloon was struck on a Very Thick .999 Fine Silver Planchette and weighs 43.9 grams. It has \"999FS\" stamped into its edge at the 12 o\'clock position. It is much nicer than it appears in the photos and in absolute Pristine Condition. The Doubloon Guide lists this doubloon at $80.00.(Unless Specifically Described as \'Toning,\' the Gold, Green, Purple and Blue Hues seen in the photos are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
