Original Drawing by legendary comedian LENNY BRUCE! Lenny did this Odds Bodkins sketch for artist Dan O'Neill. O'Neill's work began in the 1960's where he did a strip calledOdds Bodkins for the San Francisco Chronicle. But he's perhaps more famous for his own underground comic book, Air Pirates Funnies which spoofed Disney characters and resulted in a famous lawsuit by the Disney Company. Lenny Bruce was known as a very irreverent comedian who also got in trouble for some of his work. It's no surprise the two admired eachother's work. This large piece was drawn by Bruce at Enrico's Cafe in the North Beach section of San Francisco in 1963, as seen by the inscription. COA included. Pen and ink on paper, 11 X 18 inches.
