1929 Catalog – Rolls-Royce Cars with Custom Coachwork by Erdmann & Rossi:

Perhaps only surviving copy of lavish brochure issued in 1929 by famous German coachbuilders Erdmann & Rossi showing six models with custom coachwork on the Rolls-Royce chassis. The brochure was especially commissioned by the exclusive Rolls-Royce representative in Germany, Hans Detlof von Winterfeldt, with sales offices in Berlin.
No expense was spared in producing this piece of sales literature. The brochure measures 13.8 x 9.8 inches. The pages are on heavy, high-quality paper embossed with the Erdmann and Rossi logo and the Rolls-Royce logo is also embossed on the second title page. The mottled tan covers are bound with a green silk cord that matches the font color of the brochure.
This is the only color sales piece I know of issued between the wars by a German coachbuilder, and probably the only example of this particular piece that survived World War II, when every German was anxious to erase any connection with Germany’s hated arch enemy, England.
Comes with custom-made protective mylar jacket.
