Turn-Teplitz Amphora /Bohemian Art Nouveau circa 1892 - 1945
I believe this piece is around c.1899 - early 1900's
It Features Very Ornate Grape Leaves, Vines and Fruit Bunches
Marked "Amphora 3779 Austria" on Bottom ~ Please See Photos

Very Rare Tall & Substantial Size 20" tall x 17" wide

This piece is difficult to part with, however, I moved & downsized & no longer have the appropriate spacePlease Especially Note:1/ I thought it had accumulated 2-3 Tiny Chips over the years ... Very Minimal When Considering It's Age (this is OLD!) I can't remember where they're located & I can't see them~ that's how small they are ~ but I always mention ANY & ALL imperfections, so I took Multiple close ups of all sides, from all angles ~ Please Examine ALL photos using the MAGNIFYING TOOL
2/ I took the distant photo of it on my dining table & set it on the glass top table to show you the size / scale & how striking it is even from a distance
3/ I took photos with & without flash in an attempt to show the stunning color & iridescence when the light hits just right ~ absolutely beautiful
Upon research, you will find that this piece is being Offered at a Fantastic Value Compared to Other Top Antique / sale Sites & to the Comparable Sales for Much SmallerTurn-Teplitz AmphoraPieces (WorthPoint, 1stDibs, Chairish, etc.).For example, the last Turn-Tepltiz piece sold on was in October 2025 for $3000 and it was Very Small: only 6.75" tall & 14oz - Most Importantly, although it was a beautiful small vase, it did not possess nearly the intricate, masterful detail & craftsmanship as this piece.

Turn-Teplitz refers to art pottery manufactured by a number of companies in the Teplitz-Turn area of Bohemia during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries (1892-1945). One of these companies was The Amphora Porcelain Works, run by Reissner, Stellmacher, and Kessel. Amphora Porcelain Works used a variety of marks with the word Amphora or the initials RS&K.
