These photos come from the collection of photographer and businessman Harvey M. Hament, who was an authorized photographer at the 1960 Republican National Convention in Chicago.

Included are photos of Richard Nixon, various politicians, dignitaries, family members, people in the crowd, the speeches, the parade, sitting at tables, and greeting each other. Candid photographs are included.

Most photos are marked on the back side, "Photo by Harvey M. Hament, Pound Hollow Road, Old Brookville, L.I., N.Y." Some photos are not marked.

There are around 115 photos in this lot.

Measures approximately 7 7/8" x 9 7/8".

Photos are in vintage condition with heavy bowing (see photos). The left and right ends of the photos bow upwards. There are turned corners, surface scratches and marks, creasing, and other wear from age, handling and storage. Some photos may have heavier edge wear. Most photos have numbers and letters written on the back side in black ink. I'm assuming this was done by the photographer as part of his personal organization.

I tried to remove any duplicates, but I might have missed something.

It is unclear if these photos were ever published.
