It features two places for photos with two pieces of original beveled glass and two photos from the period! Both photos are daguerrotypes--a man and woman, probably husband and wife. The daguerrotype was "the first publicly available photographic process; it was widely used during the 1840s and 1850s." --Wikipedia
The pocket watch locket has engine-turned front and back covers. To access the compartments, just look for the hinges and find the discreet tabs opposite for opening. The edges are ornately chased.Condition: Excellent, especially for its age; a elongated indentation about 5/8" long on one side, best seen in video
