Despite the foxing,staining, water damage, and a small fold tear, this is a miraculously preservedthin paper campaign poster which was exclusively intended for singleusage. Even with the defects, this extraordinary piece could be restoredto perfect condition. It is folded twice and then affixed to the reverseside of a font page from the American Type Founders Company. There is noteven an image of this fantastic poster anywhere and it almost certainly is thesole surviving example. If not for a savvy individual in 1916, it wouldnever have been saved for American Political History. A magnificentdiscovery.
