Up for sale is a new, complete 4 manECWT tent, one of the three tents in the family of small soldier tentsdeveloped by the US Army Natick Soldier RD&E Center (the other two are the2 man Combat Tent and the 3 man LEWS).This is one of the best tents ever made and will probably be the lasttime you see an unused complete set for sale.Supposedly cost the Government $3800.00 when new. This tent was originally purchased by theUnited States Marine Corps, which is stated on the included packing slip. Both North Face and Eureka produced this tentfor the military. Following is thedescription from the Eureka Military Tent website:

The Extreme Cold Weather Tentis a four-soldier, four-season, tensioned pole supported shelter with 64 squarefeet of floor space and an interior height of 54". In the missiontransport configuration (tent body, fly and poles) the tent weight is less than21.5 pounds and the transport cube is less than 1.6 cubic feet. The tworainflys are Woodland CamouFlage and Arctic White and are blackout coated foruse in different Environments. The fly provides an additional 30 square feet ofvestibule area.
