Each voucher is about 8" x3" partly printed with an ornate red, white & blue Flag with printing - "Cooper Shop Volunteer Refreshment Salon".
The Cooper Shop Volunteer Refreshment Saloon openedin 1861 in Philadelphia, and was a volunteer group that provided meals, hospital care, and facilities for washing, and sleeping to over 400,000 military personnel, and refugees during the Civil War.
Nice presentable condition with bright colored red ink for borders and printing, red & blue ink for Flag with 34 stars, and dark written period ink for handwritten entries.Overall nice shape with edge wear. Please see pictures for condition.
