So, you want to be a big box collector?

I love this thing, but maybe somebody loves it more than me.

There’s only 450 of these ever produced. The chances of you ever seeing one for sale again are virtually zero, so the price is the price. If you’re sitting on some bitcoins, maybe this is for you.

I’m a professional art framer, so here’s my run down:

I removed the original plexiglass and replaced it with “tru vue” conservation series glass. This would be the same product you find in a museum & effectively stops 99.9% of fading. I also recently swapped the backer with a piece of acid free foam.

Upon opening the piece, I found the art is hinged with linen tape to the mats. Honestly the original mats are probably due for replacement, but they’re fine for another 5 to 10 years. Whomever does change the mats will need to be into paper archiving. I would not allow an amateur to remove the linen tape.

The black frame is a typical aluminum black frame. Nothing special about it has some scratches but nothing that can’t be replaced.

For now, the item is pick up only @ a public location. If you absolutely must have it, contact me and we can talk. However, I gotta protect myself from scammers on this one.

The number of the print is covered on purpose, but the sticky note is not hiding any flaws.
