Burk made this clock in the late 1940s as a master clock; however, the slave clock control mechanism has been removed.

The weight is rewound by an electric motor run on 12-volt DC from a wall plug supply. The clock rewinds about every two and a half hours.

The oak case is a very simple style. Other than the obvious damage to the veneer on the bottom of the door, the case is in very good condition with the original finish intact.

The Invar pendulum is a Riefler Type L serial number 3586, manufactured under patent 100870 between 1945 and 1950.

The measured stability is better than one second per week over a temperature range of 68 to 76°F.Riefler sold pendulum sets to various clock makers, including Burk. These included the pendulum, the pendulum bracket, and the suspension spring. Imade a new pendulum suspension spring, as the old one was repaired with razor blades and was missing a screw.The original will be shipped with the clock.

The clock measures 31 3/4" high, 13" wide, and 7" deep.

The movement has been cleaned and running in my shop for over twenty years. I am a AWCI Certified Clockmaker.

This clock is available for local pickup in Owego, NY, or may be shipped at the purchaser's expense. Estimated shipping via FedEx $85.Some assembly will be required after transport, and the use of a skilled clock repairer is recommended. This clock needs to be securely mounted on a wall for it to function at its best. For this two screws of at least #12 size should be used; on in the bracket at the top and one through the back board just above the beat plate.
