This sign from 1953 let car buyers know that Chevrolet has been America's First Choice for over 23 years - first in sales and first in value. It measures 26 inches from top to bottom and side to side, with the front extending 7 inches in length. The star features embossed letters and is painted white and blue with a metal ring around the white part. The painted gold background features embossed years with ovals at the top and bottom. A few minor touchups with some light paint loss are in a few spots. The sign currently features a light bulb inside that illuminates the sign effectively. It originally came with a flashing light to grab your attention, and you can see the instructions for the flashing light on the reverse.
