Old tile garden pot Malibu Tile Old Concrete Large 24x27 . Such an amazing garden pot i’m not sure of the true age but I can tell that it is old because of the old concrete and old tiles . This amazing pot measures in at a grand 27 inches across by 26 -1/2 and 24-1/2 tall this quite features wonderful Malibu tile original to the 1920s era along with a very rare picture tile that we have not yet seen surface. The picture tile is a portrait of a young lady in the 1920s we believe it to possibly be American encaustic tile company also known as AET she is surrounded by beautiful Malibu pillow top tiles. This pot was very well-made and tastefully done with design and style . The main tile measures in at approximately 8-3/4”x8-3/4” it was salvaged from the home of a famous sculpted . The pot appears to be old and the old tiles possibly added at a later date but it is hard to tell . She had amazing parts throughout the estate as well as several of her statues throughout the garden area it was the home of Patricia Louisiana Knop . All of her work was very quick to sell and with high in demand in the celebrity world . We were very lucky to be able to get items that A part of her personal collection this being one of them . This is a very rare one-of-a-kind item And would be a great addition for any collector of her art or of historic tiles I did not notice any major damage to the pot the only thing that I did notice the bottom right corner has one small tile missing on the border and one looks loose but it’s not tried to include detail in the photos
