George Evans only did 4 covers for Bill Gaines, and they were all in the SHOCK and CRIME categories. But his unknown talent was drawing scenes of Horror-and-Fear! Probably his best was a horror scene in which a beautiful woman was warned to not go beyond a gate to the outside world! Of course, she went anyway! And then, comes her worst nightmare....a horrible creature that will tear her to pieces! That is, AFTER he terrifies her when he says....."I'm the Moon.....Man!"
