This is a very detailed cast bronze (Ushabti or Shabti) of the legendary king Tut. This bronze is very heavy for its small size. There are two falcons on the arms with 4 falconized women around the base. this Ushabti is very similar to the inner coffin of king Tuts burial coffin. The hollow interior contains rust and a lot of thick sandy encrustation and the exterior has some encrustation. This bronze looks like it has been cleaned and polished at some point, but still has a thick layer of patina. I guarantee this statue to be an ancient copper/bronze. This Tut is about 11 inches tall (28 cm), and 2 1/2 inches wide (6.5 cm), and weighs 2 pounds 3.6 ounces. See inclosed breakdown of the XRF test.
