Being offered as surplus to the needs of NASA is this RARE NASA Crew Preferred Astronaut Worn Casio G-Shock DW5600-C Watch, with NASA serial number 5153, and NASA Identification Number SED 528-20776-1
These were flown on many Space Shuttle and ISS Missions!!! VERY RARE!
Also included is a plastic bag with NASA information, including SED number and Serial Number. I have included an images of Astronauts aboard the space shuttle (pictured, STS-61C payload specialist Bill Nelson and STS-36 commander John Creighton) had the option of wearing the Casio G-Shock DW5600 as one of several NASA-approved wristwatches for spaceflight.

This watch was in storage at the Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas, and decommissioned as surplus no longer needed.
Space flown history of this watch is unknown. The flown-in-space G-Shock watches were typically black and gray in color, but shared the same general form factor and modes as the new DW5600NASA20 Purpose The Casio G-Shock watch is used by many astronauts for its multiple uses and durability. It is water resistant and has shock buffers perfect for crew members aboard space shuttles. It tells multiple times from various places, has a stopwatch, and has a big easy-to-read screen. It also has a long battery life and is a favorite among astronauts.The distinctive square-face Casio G-Shock DW5600 (in both "C" and "E" variants) were among the models and brands of wristwatches that NASA approved for its astronauts to use on the space shuttle and aboard the International Space Station. Crew members could wear any personal timepiece they desired, but for official uses, were limited to a choice between the G-Shock, Timex Ironman and Omega Speedmaster, among a few other watches."Time in space is precious, and several time-keeping devices help the astronauts stay on their schedule of tasks.
