Presented here is a magnificent complete set of the famed Shulchan Aruch HaMalachim (The Angels Edition), one of the most celebrated and desirable editions of the Shulchan Aruch ever printed.

Printed in Amsterdam by Emanuel Attias between 1697–1699 (תנ"ז–תנ"ט), this historic edition contains the text of the Shulchan Aruch, the glosses of the Rema, Be'er HaGolah, and explanatory notes throughout.

The edition is particularly famous for its elaborate engraved title pages depicting angelic figures, giving rise to its enduring collector's name: "The Angels Edition." These title pages are among the most iconic and recognizable images in the history of Hebrew printing.

Most of the set was printed during תנ"ח (1698), traditionally accepted as the year of birth of Rabbi Yisrael Baal Shem Tov, founder of the Chassidic movement. Because of this association, the edition has long been regarded by many collectors as a highly desirable Segulah Sefer.

Bibliographically, this edition is also significant as one of the earliest Amsterdam printings incorporating the Be'er HaGolah, and is regarded as the second printing of Be'er HaGolah integrated into the Shulchan Aruch.

Three volumes with Angel title pages are in very good condition overall and remain housed in attractive original wooden-board leather bindings with clasp remnants.

Complete with errata leaves and indexes.

Some bindings are detached or partially detached as expected for a set over 325 years old.

The Orach Chaim volume is bound in a later binding and remains in generally good condition, with staining to the title page and wear to the lower corner of the opening leaves.
