Born on February 1, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, Martin Lawrence Ruben, attended University of Michigan. He answered the call and enlisted on July 14, 1942. After training he joined the 8th AAF as a radio technician and serviced overseas for over 2 years. The uniform came with an 8th AAF patch and sergeant stripes but I have misplaced them.
After being discharged, he married Bertha in 1945. He passed away on September 20, 2022.
