We have no idea what engine it is for.
But it is for a large diesel engine such as a Fairbanks-Morse, Electro-Motive or Hatch & Kirk

The only number on the item is a casting number, it is...
C-AFB531A15
The "B" might be an "8"

We had an email from a person that said it is....
"What you have is a Bosch Fuel Injector for a large Diesel Engine. We had those on a Fairbanks-Morse Diesel that powered the ship I was on in the military. I worked in the engine room so I recognize this item"

On a couple of the bolt heads it has....

The top port is 7/16" Threaded Inner Diameter

The bottom port is 5/16" Inner Diameter
(See Pictures)

The back port is 9/16" Threaded Outer Diameter
1/8" Inner Diameter

Both the front center area and the side tube are spring loaded.

There are four mounting holes.
The two mounting holes on the sides are 11/16" Inner Diameter
The two mounting holes that go from top to bottom are 1/2" Inner Diameter.

The overall size is 10 1/8" x 7 1/2" x 3 1/2"
(approximately)

Weight: 12 LBS.
